The Collective is a community of faculty with the aim of creating a more just world through teachingand learning in higher education settings.

The Social Justice Assignment Project is the first major initiative of The Collective. This project aims to center next-generation teaching and learning practices around equity and social justice in the United States. Faculty members collaborate to advance the scholarship of teaching and learning, engaging a broader audience and inspiring a new generation of educators—ultimately advancing the success of students and the betterment of society.
